I regret to have never taken an art history class in my life. I had to do some research and I would describe this style of art as Modern and De Stijl (“The Style” in Dutch). I guess 16 to 21 year old me feared I would have liked it so much I would consider majoring it. Then I would have to deal with my parents asking me “what kind of job would you get with an Art History degree (or any other humanities or fine arts concentration)?” 16 to 21 year me found this conversation agonizing and I avoided it every way I could.
Anyways here is a photo of an art and craft supply store somewhere in West LA. I believe I was on my way to my friend’s house.

Today I called out sick. I had a terrible stomach bug since yesterday evening. I thought sleeping through it would have help but clearly it did not. This week’s PPAC will be an older photo from way back when from my archives.
Back when I was young I did an Arts degree… For a long time I wondered what to do with it. I think these days, it helps with my hustles as a freelance writer. I hope you feel better soon!

Sadly I never took a single art class in university. I kind of wished I took more non-science classes back then.

What a great building! I think the style is based on the work of Mondrian 🙂

Yes it based on a Mondrian. I had to look that up too.
