Percolated or pressed (PPAC #47)

There was the coffee place I enjoyed going to called Joe’s Coffee. It closed for a while for renovations and now it became City Vibes Coffee which I yet to visit.

Aside from them having really good coffee — and I just order black coffee — I enjoy their frequent rotation of art. It could be the framed art by local artists or an entire wall like this one. I like the coffee play on “Breaking Bad,” which is one of the best TV shows I’ve ever seen. I also love watching the prequel spinoff, “Better Call Saul.” The character development is just incredible.

Update on the health front: Yesterday I felt like garbage. I’ve been coughing for seven days and it’s still not COVID. As of yesterday, it is day seven of my symptoms persisting. I went to urgent care to get checked and it turns out I have pneumonia. I got the antibiotics and the inhaler I needed and I’ve been feeling so much better. Oh yeah, I got COVID tested at the urgent care visit and it’s still negative. Thank goodness. I can’t imagine dealing with both COVID and pneumonia. There’s a lot more to this story which I’ll share in a separate post later on.

  1. Oh my goodness! I am glad you finally are taking a turn for recovery! Reminder again that there are so many illnesses out there that are not Covid and yet still take forever to recover from. Hope you feel lots better soon!

    1. I noticed nowadays people are enthusiastic to jump to the diagnosis it is COVID. I tested last week and it was negative. I am doing better especially with an inhaler. Despite being vaccinated from COVID, I am worried about getting it while I working on recovering from pneumonia.
